Valérie Denise Vaillant - international bestseller author.

Her books (Purple Moon over Paris, A Long Night in Toulouse, The Nightingales of Reims...) are always gaining the highest praises by the literary critics, and some even whisper that she may one day win the Nobel Prize for Literature.

Connoisseur of French red wine. (She likes it a bit too much, malicious tongues would say...)

Besides her original fiction, she is also working for Lightbringer Studios, writing bargain bin novelizations of their movies.
This of course she does only under a pseudonym. ("Sally Sidejob")

Aw damnit!
Aren't there any words in the English language that don't have any sexual double-meanings!?
(Other pseudonyms I have considered for her: Sally Sellout, Larry Lackluster, Harry Hackwork or Hackman)

Hehehe XD

Those connotations weren't my first thought... But I gotta admit they were probably my second. I do really enjoy that she's so blunt in her pseudonym though XD

I have heard the phrase 'side hustle' used for that, but it's probably a bit unwieldy for a name.

Two other possible pseudonyms I came up with later (and hence a bit too late):

Sarah Schlock

Peggy Pulp
(As reference to the term "pulp fiction" - no, not the movie, Tarantino was just referencing the same thing.)

She looks like a French resistance fighter ^_^

Ironically, I just finished a new pic last night with a similar pose but I couldn't get the wineglass hand quite right.

Well, drawing the most French looking Frenchwoman was kinda my goal here! :-D

Drawing the wineglass hand went (relatively) quickly - but I was spending a considerable amount of time trying to get her beret juuust right...

One who writes only the very best is entitled to her little indulgences~

She secretly loves writing those bargain bin specials doesn't she lol

But shush, don't tell anyone. If the public finds out, her reputation in the literary scene would ne ruined! Ruined, I say!

Also gives her a bit of a femme fatale vibe, doesn't it? :-D
