"What about the new Netflix stuff? It's a bunch of crap about rich people in France and some war in Africa. Why don't we just play Fortnite and screw around?"

-Jen's boyfriend

(Who currently lacks either a final design or a name; however it is canonically established that he's a douche.)

This is likely the only character from here (aside from Basam, he got some earlier) who will appear in Grinder$.

Too bad he's a tool.

Are they siblings???

Since you first mentioned Jen's surname (if I didn't miss an earlier mention) I have been wondering if we could put in a scene in Playground where they e.g. have a sisterly phone conversation...

Also, congratulations to your full set of 30 Characters!
And thank you very much for making this collaborative Monaco Royale/Ostrich War exercise a really fun and exciting one!

Jen doesn't talk to her older sister, because she hasn't been in contact for years. Nobody from back home has, including Jane's best friend from high school, one Donna Panks.

They both got into Jefferson together (Donna by the skin of her teeth) but midway through their college years Jane didn't renew their lease and completely disappeared. Donna thought it was over a boy, or maybe a religious conversion... As opposed to Donna's hard-headed pragmatism, Jane was always super idealistic, and Donna began to fear that someone or something had exploited this tendency.

re: Ostriches hijacking the Monaco Royale stuff

I love it, things like this are why I bother talking to anyone online
